        Good morning,

no budget/cost description is required in the application form. The budget is EUR 25,000 for accredited S&T Providers and EUR 10,000 for Manufacturing SMEs, and they refer to a proposal that must include a 6-month activity duration.

There is only one case where the division of the budget needs to be clarified: if 2 accredited S&T Providers will participate in the proposal. In this regard, I invite you to refer to section “3.2.2.4. Budget Fit” and annex 3 (Application form) section 6 of the “Guide for Applicants Open Call #2”.

        Best regards,

One question re to the Qualified Signature (4.2).
Our company is currently using an application transforming standard files (e.g. *.pdf or *.doc) in *.p7m ones, containing a digital signature: is it in line with the requested standard?
If not, may we use the demo DSS where the suggested link asks for the download of an application called NexU?
      thanks in advance, best regards

        Good morning,

a qualified electronic signature of the reference country is valid as it is recognised nationally.

      Good morning,

After filling out the SAT, you will be contacted by the project partners to obtain the ASAP (this action takes 5-7 days) and then you will be able to select a hub-accredited provider to write the proposal.

    Dear GreenSME Team,

We want to apply with a R&D manufacturer. Since the manufacturer’s production process is practically manual, we want to use a part of the manufacturer’s money to purchase equipment that allows the automation of the process, and as part of the consulting services to do the implementation work of process mechanization. The question is: can the purchase of equipment be included in the use of the budget? Regards, Anny

      Good morning,

please read section “3.2.2.5 Budget Fit” of the OC2 guidelines carefully.

The application form does not ask for a detailed budget expenditure. The amount earmarked for each sub-project must be used to complete the activities under the project in the manner you propose and within the timeframe set out in the OC2 . Then, the manufacturing company can use its contribution (remembering that it will only receive it after the positive evaluation of the final report) to purchase materials useful for the project purpose.

      Best regards,

    Dear greenSME Team,

Further to the question from BCG above: can the 10,000 EUR budget for the manufacturing company be spent only on materials/capital expenditure to implement the project, or is the manufacturing company’s staff time associated with the implementation an eligible cost as well?

    Best wishes

      Good morning,

the answer is always the same: you do not need to provide any financial justification for the use of the grant, the mid-term and final technical reports are the only documents required to obtain the funding (remember: payments are made only after approval of the reports). Therefore, how you use and spend project funds is not relevant information for obtaining the related grant (lump sum financing).

      Best regards,
