Tekniker specialises in Advanced Manufacturing Technologies, Surface Engineering, Product Engineering, and ICT, which enables it to face a green and digital transition.
Silesia Automotive & Advanced Manufacturing Cluster (SA&AM), coordinated by Katowice Special Economic Zone, supports the development of the automotive industry in the Silesia Region and neighbouring regions. SA&AM gathers over 190 members from the automotive and advanced technology sectors and establishes a strong cooperation platform. The Chair of Sustainable Manufacturing & Life Cycle Engineering provides a wide range of core competencies in the fields of Sustainability in Production and Life Cycle Engineering. We developed the concept of Total Life Cycle Management which serves as the framework for our research and education activities which take place in close cooperation with industry.
