WeldSmart – Improving the efficiency and sustainability of welds by integrating IoT and AI
The WeldSmart project aims to improve the efficiency and sustainability of MECC2000’s welding operations by integrating IoT sensors, software interfaces and AI. Automating job cost estimation and reducing environmental impact at 40 welding stations, the project uses real-time data collection and analysis to improve operational efficiency (OEE) and reduce waste and energy consumption.
