The greenSME Sustainability Assessment Tool and ASAP definition method

The vision of greenSME is to strengthen SMEs’ capacity for advanced technologies adoption to foster a manufacturing industry sustainability shift. This vision will be deployed through the SME sustainability transformation pathway which gathers the whole process of guidance that will be provided to the SMEs to support them in their shift towards sustainability.

The SME sustainability transformation pathway starts by evaluating the degree of awareness and maturity of the SMEs regarding sustainability and Advanced Technologies (AT) deployment, to finally identify sustainability-related hotspots. In addition, a specific SME might require additional support in its sustainability shift. In such a case, an Advanced Sustainability Action Plan (ASAP) will be designed as a sustainability roadmap for the SME.

Work package 3 “Sustainability Assessments and ASAP definition” aims to strengthen manufacturing SMEs capacity for Advanced Technologies adoption for improving its social, environmental and economic sustainability.
